How Are You Rooted?

The definition of being rooted means to be established deeply and firmly. To be grounded means to be well balanced and sensible. So to be rooted and grounded in God’s word means having a firm foundation in his Word.

The best way that I have found to stay rooted and grounded is the firm foundation of the Bible.

This is one of the ways that I know that I am rooted and grounded.

Psalm 23 says:

"The Lord is my shepherd

I shall not want

He makes me lie down in green pastures

He leads me besides still waters

He restores my soul

He leads along the paths of righteousness for his name sake.

Yea tho I walk thru the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil

Your rod and your staff they comfort me

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies

Thou anointest my head with oil

My cup overflows

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life

And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever

Amen."

These are my signs to let me know that I am rooted, grounded, and loved
